Loved reading this so much ❤️ Please can the next issue be a deep dive into all things pickling?! I’ve never pickled anything but I am *fascinated*!!

I had a couple of sessions of hypnotherapy a few years back to help me stop cracking my knuckles (a habit I’ve had since I was a kid). And it worked for me! I’d say it was a combination of some kind of a mindset shift in my subconscious, and honestly just a conscious decision that “I’ve paid money for this so it’d better be the one thing that finally works.” And it was 😂 I’d chalk it down to a combination of “Maybe the hypnotherapy worked; maybe I decided it was going to work, and therefore it did.” But if you view that alongside your strategies of reframing your anxiety around flying, I’d say it’s definitely worth trying a couple of sessions and seeing how you feel.

Just had a pickling day with my friend and it was like a welcome to Autumn. We did quick pickling red onion and cucumbers with dill and mustard seeds (separate) then made red cabbage and apple kraut and this honey ferment of mixed spice, carrot & raisins...I’m so excited for all but the cucumber is my fav currently. So easy and fun to see lined up in the fridge!!

Loved this! Also Ghosts by Dolly Alderton hands down! I’ve read it 2 times in the past few months and still think about it every day. I have no qualms with reading it again 😉

That was great, Gabby! So, my thoughts on RHONY. I definitely agree with you about that last season pretty much forcing the diversity and its narrative. I was sad that the oldies but goodies, like Ramona, weren’t coming back, but I think I agree with you that things were getting a bit stale. Kind of the same old, same old. Sad to see them go, but we’ll always have “Turtle Time”! 😂 I think I will take a break from my RHOBH rewatch (season 4 is soooo awkward and cringe) and give the new RHONY crew a try.

Totally get the flying thing. Such anxiety and sweating days before I fly. Thanks for sharing your resources. My son will be going to flight school next year, so it will be interesting what he can teach me when it comes to those noises and bumps.

I want to join the book club!! I have had that same idea on the back burner myself, but hadn’t gotten around to it yet. Olive Kitterage has been on my list for a while and i have heard great things, so that would be my vote. 😊
