Oh I was *obsessed* with this show when I was around 14, going to have to give it a rewatch. They are also style icons in this, the knitwear the hats, the gloves!
I CANNOT WAIT TO WATCH THIS. You named everything I love in a show: second chances, middle life, real women, female friendship, gardening, murder... what could possibly go wrong. Also thank you for saying Barbie was boring. I literally could not finish it.
Thank you for introducing this show to me, I've never heard of it before!!!!!
Ahhhh hope you enjoy it! I also really enjoyed being back in early 2000s England. It had a very specific vibe but I couldn’t find a way to articulate it beyond pure nostalgia haha
a *very vague* memory of this show airing lives in the back of my mind - putting it on immediately! could always go for a cozy mystery with realistic, lovely characters
I started watching this a few days ago after you first mentioned it, and I’m in love. I hope to be as cozy, funny and silly as Rosemary and Laura when I’m their age. (I also always think of Miss Trunchbull of the 1996 Matilda when Pam Ferris comes on screen, and that’s a fun childhood memory!)
This is one my favorite shows! 10/10. Glad to hear I am not the only 30-something who watches it.
🙋🏻♀️
I shall be adding this one to the tbw

Welp, adding this to my to-watch list now!
